The Pop Classics Shop
After more than 20 years selling vinyl records and pop memorabilia online, we decided it was time for a change and give the record store life a go. In September 2023 we opened our first shop in St Martin’s Precinct, Caversham, Reading, Berkshire.
The shop is well stocked with new and used vinyl and CDs, which we add to on a daily basis and caters for all budgets and tastes. Damian is on hand in the shop most days to discuss and advise on all things music related along with his knowledgeable team, the Pop Classics shop is a gold mine of musical resources, both old and new.

The shop has quickly become a focal point in St Martin’s Precinct, Caversham. We regularly host local emerging artists and bands, giving them a platform to share their music and creating a welcoming environment for musicians and music lovers alike.
We have recently been nominated for a Pride of Reading Award, an award for independent retailers which is testament to our hard work and passion for music in all its forms. Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for future gigs and musical events at the shop.
